THE DIMINISHED
Dreams come true for a girl with a crush on a musician when she gets invited back to his place, but nightmares follow when she meets his peculiar brother and learns he may be responsible for the death of a missing teenager.
THE DIMINISHED is a short film written and directed by Mig Windows, featuring songs and an original score from Bret Levick, cinematography by Samuel Raymond Kinney of Foothold Films, and additional camerawork by Erik Brendeland. It stars Hayley Thirlwall, John Alan Hulbert, Corey Renfree, Megan Jones, and Dan McCloy.
Originally intended as a feature-length film, the production encountered numerous production setbacks that resulted in the cancellation of several shoot dates. What remains is the bare bones of the story, but like a good skeleton it can still do plenty to shock and frighten the viewer.
