Back in March, I was excited to for Askew Theatre Company’s anticipated “Out of the Box 10 Minute Play Festival” and one of the roles I was most eager to read for was the part of “Leaf 2” in the play “Falling” by Diane Walker. The script is a joyful combination of silly and insightful, and Leaf 2’s openness to possibilities and realizations were a lot of fun to experiment with throughout the rehearsal process.

Due to COVID-19, March’s performances had to be canceled shortly before opening night. However, I’m delighted that Obed and Micheal at Askew Theatre Company have brought the event back in the form of Live Zoom readings, and am thrilled to be reprising my role as Leaf 2! Following “Falling” there will be a reading of the poignant dramatic play “Keeping Secrets” by Rich Rubin.
